Wingfield Plain "pinch pot". Interior depression was probably created by sticking a finger into the clay to create a small hollow. This miniature vessel was recovered from a habitation area, a concentration of living spaces closest to the platform mound at Pueblo Grande. Pueblo Grande was a large village site located at the headgates of a major canal system occupied as early as AD 500, reaching its greatest size during the Classic Period. Museum Accession: 1996.17
