Woman's white cap with a drawstring at the back of the neck and wide border of Mechlin style bobbin lace at the front. The pattern on the lace is of a basket of flowers centered at the middle of the cap. The pattern is a repeating one. There is one complete motif and portions of the repeat of each side. The border of bobbin lace has been cut and hemmed to fit the hat at each side. There is an embroidered initial "I" on the left and "S" on the right.
