Evening dress, silk and metal thread brocade, made by Callot Soeurs Ltd, 1934. Shoulder cape, silk and dyed cock’s feathers, about 1932-34. This dress belonged to Elizabeth van Swinderen (1878-1955), an American who married a Dutch diplomat.
