12 pattern-woven strips joined selvedge to selvedge by whip stitching to create a larger cloth; dark and light blue warps arranged in narrow stripes; primary weft is dark blue, resulting in blocks of striped plain weave when woven; multi-colored brocaded patterns (crescents/elongated elliptical shapes and various symbols) are spaced throughout-some brocading is worked in silk, but most is cotton; top and bottom edges of the cloth are turned and hemmed using running stitches.
