The National Council of Engineers is promoting a project to highlight the role of women working in contemporary society, especially in the technical and scientific fields.
In particular, the project aims to highlight some key skills typical of women (social skills, creativity, civil sense) which are not only fundamental in one’s social life, but are even more important in a historically male-dominated profession such as engineering.
While on the one hand women are enjoying ever more professional opportunities, on the other they struggle to find suitable solutions for combining a professional life with their biological role.
In order to achieve this, women must participate in associations, in the belief that collaboration, sharing, and cooperation are synonyms of wholeness.
In this light, the National Council of Engineers is investing in a strong female presence to build a new generation of professionals who are able to compete with their peers from elsewhere in Europe.
