Women's World Cup banner, WFA

A banner produced by artists Will Bindley and Eugene Noble exclusively for the National Football Museum, commemorating the Women's World Cup in France.

The banner is based on a Women's Football Association (WFA) pennant from the 1970s. The WFA kept football alive during the ban on women's football imposed by the FA, and ran the game for two decades from 1971.
