Wood carving tool

A wood carving tool with a short iron head made by a local blacksmith called Laetekerich who belongs to the Samburu il kunono. The iron head is fitted with a wooden haft. The tool is for pecking out the inside of wooden milk containers (ilkilip). It is used mostly by women who make wooden containers.
