A kind of a trumpet with a narrow diameter. Made from a trunk of a young tree, usually wood of spruce, that is cut along in two halves, then each is hollowed, and finally both are put back together with the help of pitch or wrapped together with strips of bark. The longest may be up to 4 meters. Once used as a signaling device, today only in the folklore.
