In ethnic minority areas, the spinning and weaving is all done by hand. It is both energy- and time- consuming to make wool threads by spinning a wood stick with its bottom in a bowl. It takes one day to make half a pound wool yarns. It is no exaggeration that it takes years to hand make wool yarns enough for one piece of garment.
