Artwork created for Imago Mundi by eighty artists from the embroidery department of the Mansudae Art Studio (Pyongyang, North Korea), under the direction of Ji Jong Yol, Jon Yong Bok, Kim Mi Ran. The Mansudae Art Studio - 120 thousand square metres, four thousand employees, including a thousand artists selected from the best academies and universities – is the art centre that produces the majority of the artistic works in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea): from great bronze statues to watercolours, from oils to ceramics, from woodcuts to mosaics, from architectural projects to ink on paper and embroidery.
