During the past four decades Spyros Staveris crosses, motivated either by a magazine’s commission or by personal interest, the Greek society horizontally, depicting themes as diverse as the protagonists of the socio-cultural life and the interiors of brothel houses, island county fairs and Big Brother’s studio. His look unfolds a unique sense of introspection that, regardless of the subject, always unfolds a gentle touch of collaboration, never crossing the line of violation.
