This palang belonged to the eldest lady of the house who had passed away recently. She had received this as a gift from her parents during her wedding around seventy years ago. It was stored in her room along with the rest of her belongings and was brought out to the courtyard to be documented. The headboard of this palang could be dismantled when it had to be moved from one space to another.
