The re:design project (supported by the City of Gdynia, Gdynia Design Centre and the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park) aimed to create a new signage for the YMCA building.

“The distinctive red & blue logo of the YMCA is now a thing of the past. It is replaced with minimalist and legible inscription. Our priority is to present the information concerning the functioning of the building in a dignified manner which respects the architectural project of Stefan Kozinski and Bohdan Damiecki from the turn of 40's and 50's. Up till today out of date banners “attacked” the building, ruining its form and aesthetics. The re:design concept aimed to create one, coherent information system that both aesthetically fits into the modernistic style of architecture and provides easy option for the future changes in controlled and affordable way. On the building – as a superior information – the YMCA sign is placed, as the building has been always identified with the name of this organization ” – says Adam Ignaciuk, the graphic who together with Filip Piasecki is responsible for the project.
