You Think About It !

The extremely inward looking female artist, Huang Fang-chi, bravely tackles the ultimate ending of life. In the flowing river of time her works take bread as their focus, defining a shorter, clearer, more transitory life cycle. The work "You think about it !" begins with the fragrance that fills the air as the bread comes fresh from the oven. It progresses to the attack and multiplication of bacteria shortly thereafter, followed by decay and collapse. In this way we are presented with a microcosm of life, in a way that makes the relationship between life and death that much easier to comprehend.
