Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands

The photograph depicts the estate Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands. On the path leading to the church stands the priest Nikolai Remizov, who served here. Designed by Alexander Adalbertovich Zborzhevsky, a graduate of the Moscow Court Architecture School, the church was built in 1878 on the foundations and vaulted cellar of an eighteenth-century barn. The construction of the church was in the hands of I. F. Tyutchev.
