Dawods themes lean towards universalization in most of his works. He tends to reference the cultural traditions, which due to their universal properties, have crossed borders both geographical and cultural. One can often be reminded of hints of Kafka as well as the whole world of suggestion, which brings illusion, symbols, metamorphosis, the feeling of not existing, restraint, unease and alienation.
