Bodice of Thai silk; attached skirt of Thai silk and metal-thread brocade (phaa yok).
The fabric for the skirt of this dress was probably woven for Her Majesty in Lumphun province, northern Thailand, at that time the last center remaining from the reign of Rama V that still produced court-style brocades.
