Multi-disciplinary experts were invited to examine the passage of time in the site and the subjective experience of history, and to creatively respond to the layers of time and history that lay dormant within Isara Winitchai Throne Hall and Mukkrasan Hall within the site of the former Front Palace. Suwicha Dussadeewanich, a sculptor, he works with three-dimensional installation art that applies working methods and thinking processes of traditional Thai craftsmen. Initially, Suwitcha was inspired by the foundations and columns of structures within King Rama VI's Sanamchan Palace in Nakhon Pathom. With this inspiration in mind, Suwitcha sought to re-create the same effect by adapting traditional Thai techniques to fit with modern-day design to create a seating area for the exhibition which would be both relaxed and inviting.
