“Fontana di Roma”

The painting took part in the "Prize Sorelle Fontana " of 1960 entitled "Fountains of Rome." The artist was inspired to one of the Quattro Fontane del Quirinale in Rome, transforming the "Diana" of the sculpture in Zoe Fontana, dedicating to her his work and through red cloth emphasized her passion for fashion. Hence the title "Fontana di Roma"
