Nationally Important Cultural Property
This is one of the six wooden standing statues of Zao Gongen. It was enshrined in addition to the central figure. Its helmet takes the form of a trident vajra and a skull and paint is still visible in most parts of its body. It is 84.2cm tall and is made from one piece of hinoki wood. According to the growth ring dating, it is estimated that the statue was made in Heian Period.
