Soapstone tea set

This imitated Tang Dynasty tea set made by soapstone was a burial object. Regarding to their small size, they were not for practical use. This set includes brewing and drinking utensils that were listed in “The Classic of Tea (Cha Jing)” by Lu Yu, the first known monograph on tea in the world, written during the Tang dynasty.
