At the Luliao archeological site, there were nearly 2,400 glass beads found. The beads vary in sizes and shapes. Most of them are solid colored including white, red, purple, yellow, orange, blue, green and black, etc. A small number of them show two colors or multi colors. These beads were most likely used to make ornaments for the neck, wrist, ankles and ears. Smaller beads might have been embroidered onto clothing.
