The central areas of this pleated skirt applies the applique embroidery, by which the crafters paste cut-outs onto the foundation weave, and then fix them with stitches along the edges of the patches. There are three groups of geometric appliques in the center of the skirt, with red and green motifs on the side while white ones in the middle, creating an eye-catching palette. Among these appliques there are embroidered squares in red and white threads, posing an interesting contrast.
