This is one of the halls located along the ascetic trail from Sanbutsu-ji Temple’s Hon-do Hall to Nageiredo Hall. It is found after Jizo-do Hall. Pilgrims calm their spirit by ringing the bell before continuing their journey to Nageiredo. Originally, the bell did not exist and it is said that it was recast in 1680.
