Mogera kanoana Kawada et al. 2007

This holotype specimen was donated by Dr. Liang-Kong Lin, the denominator and also professor of Tunghai University. The Kano’s moles feed on earthworms and only found on high mountain area and east part of Taiwan.The scientific name is after Tadao Kano for he was the first man who depicted this species in 1940.
