Gomurae is a tool for evening the soil in a paddy or a field, covering crops with soil after sowing, collecting or spreading grains. A small rake is referred to as goraedanggrae and also used for removing ashes from the furnace. A grain rake is also referred to as geomunde, ddenggilgae, gomulgae, milgi, danggeulgae, milgae, or myeolgae, or mirae, depending on the region. This tool is generally T-shaped with the handle driven to a piece of wood, but its shapes can vary from a rectangle, a half-moon type to a trapezoid.
