Danryeong is an outfit worn by the bridegroom at a wedding ceremony. A bridegroom’s wedding outfit, was part of the ordinary dress code for government officials in the Joseon Dynasty, and consisted of trousers, a men’s jacket, and danryeong in deep greenish blue or navy. The breast and back of danryeong were stitched with an official’s embroidered patches depicting one crane or a pair of cranes. A bridegroom also wore an angular belt around the waist, an official hat, and leather boots.
