This is a tool to form a square slice of laver while it is dried. Laver is placed into a square frame, some of which may have a handle. A laver blind is placed at the bottom of the frame and laver is then poured onto it. When the laver is formed in a square shape, the frame and the laver blind are removed and the laver is dried.
