Gimpo Plain

Gimpo Plain stretches from Gimpo to the cities of Paju and Goyang. The area used to suffer frequent flooding from the Hangang River, but it is now well equipped with drainage and irrigation facilities and has been transformed into well-irrigated paddy fields as a result of the construction of a pumping station by the Farmland Improvement Cooperative.
