This is a device used for catching fish by means of a fishing line, and is usually employed for troll fishing or fishing without a rod. Seven hooks are inserted onto a sinker in the shape of a trivet. A hole is punctured in the middle of the sinker and a knot of a green cord that connects the sinker to the fishing line is inserted in the hole. Fishhooks are largely divided into two types. Fishhooks with a barb are used for catching large fish while those without a barb are used for catching small fish.
