Jeogori, Fur Lined Jacket Nambawi, Winter Cap

A winter jacket with wool lining and poplin interlining. It is made of dark navy silk fabric of small flower pattern. Sleeve ends and hemlines are also adorned with wool. It is an outerwear thus generous in the length and width.

Nambawi is a winter hood worn by both men and women in the Joseon dynasty same as Pungcha. It occasionally had flaps to cover the chin and cheek to protect the face from winter’s coldness.
