Mildae is a rolling pin used to roll out dough thinly to make noodles or dumplings. Two handles were attached to either end of a cylindrical body. The body was made by cutting a thick, solid log tangentially and carved in the shape of a cylinder. The handles were rounded in a lozenge shape, and its surface displays the natural grains of the woodblock. The overall body is yellowish brown.
