Milpan is a rectangular wooden board, on which various ingredients are cut, or dough is thinly rolled to make noodles or dumplings. It was made by cutting a thick, solid log radially into a board. The surface was carved concavely, and the bottom and two supporting feet were roughly trimmed. The grains of the radial section are visible on the surface of milpan, and the overall body is yellowish brown.
