White Mourning Horsehair Hat

Baengnip is a white hat worn during a mourning period. It was made of bamboo strips in the shape of a black hat with a wide brim and covered with hemp cloth. The cylindrical crown and wide and flat brim were rimmed with thin bamboo strips.
