Bukseoporu (Northwestern Cannon Fort)

Completed on September 24,1794, in the 18th year of King Jeongjo’s reign, Bukseoporu is one of the cannon forts at Hwaseong Fortress located between Hwaseomun (West Gate) and Janganmun (North Gate). An artillery position was established on the third tier of the bastion on a section of the fortress wall.
