This clayware excavated along the Nam River at Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do is a typical pottery of the Bronze Age. Judged by its onion-like appearance – a shout spout and rounded bottom, it appears that two methods were mainly used to make this pottery; brake wheel and piling up methods. Interestingly, its red color is quite evident, due to the fact that it was made from soft earth and then probably rubbed by oxidized steel. It also features some tracing but decorative marks on lips, body and bottom, particularly on shoulder area. Considering this kind of pottery has been recently excavated at not dolmen sites but houses at the Bronze Age, it was presumably used for hold and pour liquids, especially at the ceremony.
