This comb was used to pull back hair tightly so braiding could be done neatly. Similar to an eollebit, or wide-toothed comb, in material and shape, this is smaller in size and more fine-toothed than an eollebit. The ox horn pieces with floral pattern are attached on the semi-circle frame of the comb, and the end and both sides of the comb are lacquered in black.
