Uintatherium is one of the extinct giant mammals, having body size similar to a rhinoceros. It is characterized by a long and flat skull with six prominent horns, and sharp and long canines. It seems to have lived near water and grazed on aquatic grasses and other plants. Uintatherium mainly lived in North America during the Eocene.
