Candle Stand

This candle stand was used diversely from everyday life to ceremonial purposes. If the stand was decorated with bat, butterfly and round shape flame designs, it was for the everyday life. This stand is decorated with butterfly and the bottom part has been designed with a dragon’s head. In the Joseon Period, the candle was a very rare and expensive good so this stand was produced, targeting rich families.
