2018 ACT Center Convergence Contents Exhibition invited Abe Kazuo, an exhibition cooperation director with the start of general direction of Park Nam Hee, and it was conducted under the theme of 《Otherly Space/Knowledge》(2018.03.02-25). This exhibition focused on expansion of intervention of media technology which is amplified in the same period to consciousness beyond physical space. Like individual spaces, in this era, what does not penetrate this in public space became unimaginable. In today’s era when information of reality, time, and energy are almost simultaneously linked with the world, there is a need to question the current status of technology innovation in which we are located, and social changes.

《Otherly Space/Knowledge》 exhibition captures the third space existing between sense and knowledge in the era of technical innovation, and introduces special media art which spreads another status within it. Their works using advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, VR, and system of electromagnetic waves go beyond offering us surprise, and make us to approach essential meaning and implications of digital area by leading us into ‘Otherly Space/Knowledge’. In other words, 《Otherly Space/Knowledge》 exhibition is a journey searching for the third space which may exist somewhere between data world and reality. Standing in that other space, we will recognize now and hear of technology and art, and explore possibilities of the future.
