Women’s Winter Cap

This is a women’s winter headgear worn in the Joseon Dynasty. It was made of black silk, with an open crown and a broadly rounded rear part to prevent the bun from being pressed. Black or purple was used for the exterior fabric, while the lining consisted of silk or cotton in navy, purple, or black. Tassels were attached at the center of the front and the back.
