2016 ACT Festival - Forum 1 Subject 1. Media Heterotopia: Heterotopia’s problem in media environment

Forum was conducted on two days, November 25, 26, 2016. On November 25, the first theme ‘Media Heterotopia: Heterotopia’s problem in media environment’, and on November 26, the second theme ‘Asian Heterotopia: Asia’s experimental Heterotopia trials’ were discussed.
The first theme ‘Media Heterotopia: Heterotopia’s problem in media environment’ covers problems of Heterotopia appearing in the media environment. The problems of Heterotopia which appear through heterology and hybridity changes existing critical mind of the modern and present era into more complicated aspects. This appears based on virtual aspects and interaction of technology media of the present era, and brings out new reality requiring various modifiers of virtual, augmented, and complex. Accordingly, various art and technical attempts which appear in the present day are analyzed and problems of new Heterotopia are raised through this.
