Bronze gong

This is a bronze gong engraved with the words “Seowon-bu Heungdeoksa Temple.” It was found during a housing development construction in 1985. Along with a bronze Buddhist alms bowl, it confirmed the location of Heungdeoksa Temple recorded at the end of Jikji.
