Pungjam, also called wonsan, is an accessary worn on the forehead part of horsehair-woven headbands. It is designed to prop up gat, or Korean traditional hat, in order to prevent the hat from slipping forward or backward. It was made of wood, horns, sea turtle shell, agate, amber, and cloudy amber.
