The science name for moimoi leaves is Thaumatococcus danielli. The leaves are shaped into a cone and the bottom part is folded before the moimoi mixture is added. The upper part of the cone is folded again, and then placed gently in a pot. The sticks of the leaves are used to lay the lower part of the pot with little water for steaming.
