The Jewish Museum Frankfurt is the oldest major Jewish Museum in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is a place to experience Jewish cultures in the past and present.
The Jewish Museum Frankfurt keeps two locations with site-specific character, both of them of outstanding significance for the Jewish history of the city. Museum Judengasse with its award-winning exhibition highlights the standing of Frankfurt as a major cultural center for Jewish life in Europe. The main location in the historic Rothschild-Palace has been reopened after renovation in October 2020.
