Hemiksem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Hemiksem proper. On January 1, 2010 Hemiksem had a total population of 10,166. The total area is 5.44 km² which gives a population density of 1,868 inhabitants per km².
