Jabalpur is a tier 2 city in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is generally accepted that the game of Snooker originated in Jabalpur. Jabalpur is the administrative headquarters of Jabalpur district and the Jabalpur division. The city is known for its beautiful marble rocks on the river Narmada at Bhedaghat.
