Vișeu de Sus is a town in Maramureș County, Maramureș, Romania, located at the confluence of the rivers Vișeu and Vaser. It administers one village, Vișeu de Mijloc. It has an area of 443 km² and a population of 15,037. It is best known for the Mocăniță.
