Oleg Vasilyevich Yakhont (b. 1941) is a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor, Art History Ph.D., fine art restorer of the highest qualification, author of several monographs.

During many years of his creative activity, while working in Russian leading museums, he has brought back to life dozens of pieces of art.

The exhibition will consist of two parts. The first one will present the sculptural and graphic works from the personal collection of Oleg Yakhont donated to the Tretyakov Gallery: works by Boris Korolyov, Marina Ryndzyunskaya, Boris Ternovets, Hakob Gyurjian and Ilya Mashkov. The second one will be dedicated to the art of Oleg Yakhont himself. Viewers will be able to get acquainted with the graphic and sculptural works made by him from various materials, and to assess the peculiar vision and skill of the donator.
